Christmas has arrived at Blue Margin, and we are spreading the holiday cheer!
During this season of giving, we teamed up with one of Northern Colorado’s most generous non-profits – Santa Cops – to wrap Christmas presents for children in need.
In addition to helping the underprivileged, Santa Cops is an opportunity to demonstrate that officers are caring supporters of the community.
Organized by the Northern Colorado law enforcement community (I.e., the Fort Collins, Loveland, Timnath, and Colorado State University Police departments) the program is run by volunteers and operates through generous donations from the community. Hundreds of toys are given away each Christmas season, a wonderful example of Northern Colorado’s community spirit.
Two of our Blue Margin team members (and their little holiday helpers from home) wrapped everything from race cars, to baseball bats, to princess books, to baby wipes – all in packages ready to be hand-delivered by officers this December.
As we wrap up the inaugural year of Blue Margin’s Community Works with over 115 volunteer hours in the books, we are grateful to be a part of the generous giving community in which we live. It has been a humbling first year and we look forward to more amazing experiences and people in 2017!
